Keep a 32g ice Cube frozen in the schools deep freeze at approximately 0 degrees fahrenheit alive and as a solid for 5 hours in the classroom.  Engineer your ice saving container using any materials as long as you do not use an item specifically sold to keep things cold (thermos or gel packs).

Build a device that will heat at least 500 ml of water using only the sun's energy.

Build a copter that will be dropped from 10 feet.  It must spin horizontally at least 360 degrees and land on it's base (same direction as it was dropped).  The slowest timed compter wins.
